Why my Nintendo NES will Live on

I still have my Nintendo that I played when I was a kid. As well as most of my games that I played on the unit. Until recently I just considered smaking my unit till I got it to work. Then I discovered that installing a New 72 pin connector, makes my system good as new. Seriously all my games, work perfectly not to mention start right away. No more blinking screen or flashing red light. I guess it helps that I also cleaned my games, but this is awesome.

Now thanks to eBay and other resources, I have been able to fill my collection of great Nes Games. I still play Mario 3 and Tecmo Bowl, like they are going out of style. Even those rare games, and Nintendo cheats are so easy to find on the Internet now. No need to worry about those old Nintendo Power Magazines laying around,

I suppose that the graphics, are no where near as good as a PS3 or a Nintendo Wii. Who cares, nothing is better than some of the original NES games. Another reason NES will not die, is the fact that restoring them is so easy. Have you tried to restore an old Atari. Wow now that's a chore, not to mention you had better be skilled with soldering. You can replace the pin connector with out being a skilled at soldering. I did try and pretty much, melted every thing (lol) Not to mention I think the graphics on a NES are so much better than that of atari. The controllers are also easy to use, no cheesy controllers that break down over time. Actually I just bought a NES Power Glove the other day. Man its pretty cool, pretty advance for the late 80's.

The picture in this Hub is that of an NES Top loader. Its very compact, and pretty much never gets in the way. Supposedly it is kind of a collectors item.

I still love all the newer game systems. My PS3 is great I can't get enough of those lush graphics, and great games the ps3 has to offer. Sometimes nothing beats playing classic Zelda or something else. Live ON!  For many of us there comes a day when, we must sell games to get cash for something new, I completely understand.
